Free account · First CV free to create and preview · PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT

In short: To translate a CV from Uzbek to English with MyEasyCV, upload your Uzbek CV (PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT, up to 5 pages), choose English as the CV language and a design, and the English version is ready in about a minute. Your profile, job titles, duties, skills and degrees are translated; your name, employers, universities and contacts are kept as written, so a CV in Cyrillic needs its names changed to Latin spelling in the editor. Then delete the photo, date of birth, nationality and JSHSHIR, and download a PDF. Creating and previewing your first CV is free with an account; the clean PDF without watermark is paid.

How to translate your CV from Uzbek to English in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Upload your Uzbek CV

PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT, up to 10 MB and 5 pages. A Canva design can be downloaded as a PDF; photos and scans are not supported. The original layout does not matter — the CV is laid out again.

  2. 2

    Choose English and a design

English is preselected when you come from this page. Pick one of 25+ templates; the photo is optional. In the optional note you can ask for “American English” or “British English”.

  3. 3

    Review, fix names and download

If your CV is in Cyrillic, change names to Latin spelling. Delete the personal details an English CV does not need, adjust any line in the editor, then download the PDF.

What gets translated and what stays as written

Translated
Your profile («Men haqimda»), job titles, duties and achievements, skills, degrees and fields, courses, projects, volunteering and custom sections.
Kept as written
Your name, company, university and school names, email, phone, links, software (Excel, 1C, Python) and certification acronyms (IELTS, ACCA). Cyrillic stays Cyrillic — fix it in the editor: your name as in your passport, the university by its official English name (Tashkent State University of Economics), the company in Latin letters («Bahor» MChJ → Bahor LLC).
Not summarised
The tool is set up to keep every job, bullet point and date without summarising. Still, compare the result with your CV before downloading.
Checked by you
Date of birth, marital status, nationality (millati), JSHSHIR (PINFL) or passport number are not removed automatically — delete them in the editor before applying in the US or the UK.

Uzbek CV vs. US resume vs. UK CV

In English, the personal details and format change too. These are the most common conventions.

General conventions, not rules — if the job ad asks for something else, follow the ad. Write months as words: 03.04.2025 is 3 April in Uzbekistan but March 4 in the US.

How to write Uzbek qualifications in English

Degree names are what gets mistranslated most. Use the institution's official English name and explain the qualification.

Oʻrta maktab attestati
High school diploma — usually left out once you have a degree.
Akademik litsey, kasb-hunar kolleji, texnikum
Say what it is: “Academic lyceum (upper secondary school)” or “Vocational college diploma in Accounting (3 years)”.
Bakalavr
Bachelor's degree, with the field: “Bachelor's degree in Economics”. Usually 4 years — add it in brackets if useful.
Magistratura
Master's degree: “Master's degree in Finance”, with the length if useful.
«Qizil diplom»
Diploma with honours — not “red diploma”, which means nothing to an employer abroad.
Baholar, GPA
Write the grade on the scale you have (“GPA 3.6/4.0” or “Average grade: 4.8/5”) — do not convert it; for an official equivalence ask an evaluator such as WES (US, Canada) or UK ENIC (UK).

Literal translations to avoid

These word-for-word translations most often give away a machine-translated Uzbek CV.

Uzbek to English CV translation: FAQ

How do I translate my CV from Uzbek to English?

Upload your Uzbek CV, choose English as the CV language and a design, and the English version is ready in about a minute. Review it, remove unneeded personal details and download the PDF.

Is it free?

Creating your first CV and seeing the full English result is free with an account, no card needed. The clean PDF without watermark is part of the One-Time Package (one payment; the price depends on your country) or the Pro Plan.

Is it better than Google Translate or DeepL?

A general translator converts the file as it is and can break the layout. MyEasyCV writes the content of your CV in English and lays it out again in an editable template. Either way, read the result before you send it.

Is this a certified translation?

No. MyEasyCV writes your CV in English for job applications. Diplomas and documents for visas, diploma recognition or other authorities need a certified translation, often notarised.

Is an obyektivka the same as a CV?

No — an obyektivka is a different, formal document. An employer abroad who asks for a CV in English expects a normal CV: experience, education, skills, languages. If you upload an obyektivka, everything in it is translated, personal details included, so delete what is not needed.

Should I include my JSHSHIR, passport number or photo?

For US and UK employers, usually not. Never put your JSHSHIR (PINFL) or passport number on an English CV; date of birth, marital status and nationality are not expected either. The tool does not remove them — delete them in the editor.

My CV is in Cyrillic or in Russian — does it work?

Yes. Upload it the same way and choose English as the CV language. Names of people, companies and universities stay in Cyrillic, so change them to Latin spelling in the editor.

How should I list my IELTS score?

Certification acronyms are kept, so “IELTS” stays as it is. Give the exact score, e.g. “English: IELTS 7.0 (C1)”, and add the year if you like.

Can I translate my CV from English to Uzbek?

Yes. Upload your English CV, choose Uzbek as the CV language and a design. The same rule applies: the first CV is free to create and preview with an account; the clean PDF without watermark is paid.

Your experience is the same in any language. Make sure it reads well in English.

Upload your Uzbek CV — the first English version is free to create and preview.
